Even with the large body of a minivan, by using the same power e-power as the EV, there is powerful torque from low speeds, so it is very comfortable. However, the fuel is gasoline and cannot be charged from the outside.
When you actually ride it, it runs powerfully and lightly from the low speed range with the power of electricity. It makes me realize that the heavy minivan and the torque of the motor are very compatible.
When the engine for power generation is not running, the inside of the car is very quiet, but when running slowly in an urban area, when the engine starts, I was a little worried about the engine noise.

Lexus is the second SUV EV following the UX300e. The UX had almost the same body as the gasoline model, but this time the RZ is made entirely on the platform as an EV. And although there are pros and cons to the new Lexus icon "spindle body," it may be accepted someday.
