Hyundai (ex-Hyundai) has entered the Japanese market for the first time in a long time since 2009. As an EV, it feels like it was created by reviewing the concept of a car from the beginning. Even a 72kwh battery can be purchased for about 5 million yen, including subsidies. It may be a little more expensive route than the Nissan Leaf. The novel appearance is quite impressive and cool. I heard that there is no regenerative braking, so that is a bit of a problem, but if you want a car that is different from others and has a new feel, this might be it. However, no matter how you look at it, there are probably few repair shops in Japan, and it can be said that brand power is everything for imported cars in the Japanese market. I'm looking forward to seeing if it's possible.

TOYOTA AQUA G 2022-
Car manufacturer website
Toyota's small hatchback. Strong hybrid exclusive car model. Although it is a hybrid car, it can run EV up to 40km/h (previous model was 15km/h), and the feeling of EV has increased considerably. The fuel consumption is 33.6km/l, which is about twice that of a normal hybrid car. It looks pretty much the same as the previous Aqua, and even if you see it in the city, you can't tell if it's a new model or an old model for a moment. There is not much impact other than fuel efficiency, and the number of sales is not so good at the moment compared to the previous generation Aqua.
